Yeah it's really good, if they all relevant user enhanced comments else bad (auto pot spamming comments).
Check twice then approve live manually each & every comments

Sometimes spammers write a good and solid comment. Which is relevant to your post.
But put a link to irrelevant sites like adult, viagra or pharmacy, etc.
So make sure to check the link too before approving a comment.

Thinking about this the other day. Is it considered "bad form" or *GASP* BlackHat to restructure the spammy comments with relevant keywords and restructured links? I figure the spammers have all ready done half the work for me; posting with a valid email. On another note any one harvest the email addresses?

As the first response says genuine comments are good - spam comments about fecking Louis Vuitton shoes or whatever are not. Also one link per comment sounds suspect to me. Most of the comments I get do not have links in. I let them go if the comment is very good or on topic and very long. 20 words and a link, even if its on topic and good English, probably gets deleted.

If the links are related to your niche or to what you are offering to your website and they come from verified accounts, then you won't have to worry about spam.

If you're not sure whether or not to approve them, a good rule of thumb is that if there's anything in the "URL" field (especially if it's anything except a home page link) or if the "name" field is anything that isn't a human's name, it's probably spam.

1. Spam Comment - Delete it if it irrelevant to the post and so many links included in the comment.
2. Genuine comment relevant to the post. They never harm your website.
