LinkPushing Case Study

Not a problem and thanks for coming back to post that comment. I know people were skeptical and think that I have a part in LinkPushing but I don't. It is a good service and we wanted to test the effect on a new forum site. I think that this proved 2 things. 1. don't be afraid to use this on a new site. 2. If your content sucks it can not help you.

Most people buy the 12 pushes and worry about their site. Well we went way beyond that with no issues such as sandboxing so your sites are safe.

The poor content issue is not only a problem with linkpushing but any off site seo that you do. If your site sucks and/or has little content, you will NOT rank unless you buy or hack google.

Any chance of a follow-up with how the site is doing now?

I have not done anything further with the site. My other sites are taking up all my time. This one is just a hobby when I get time. With that, the rankings seem to be holding.

It isn't so much about the onsite content. I've had poorly optimised content rank through link pushing the hell out of it. But poor-quality content like a bad forum will struggle to rank with bad onsite SEO. A website with poorly optimised but good content can absolutely rank for low-moderate keywords.

How poor is the content on the forum?

Conclusion? C'mon now, don't leave me hanging.

But I would like to see if your site is ranking in top ten for any of your keywords.

Very poor and very thin on amount.

Not any more, I got tired of dealing with the spam so I redirected the domain to a blog with the same niche. I just did not have time to deal with it. It did get to a PR1 though before I did that. Yes it was ranking for several before I redirected it.
