Hi guys,

I'm looking for a very simple LinkedIn bot that performs nothing else, just visiting a lot of profiles.
It would be great to have possibility to define some criteria for the search like location or keywords.

If you have any experiences or links for me than I would really appreciate sharing it with us :o

well my friend, I think I can point you in the right direction.
In fact, "piratsoft" (member on this forum) has put together a software that does exactly what you want.
The software is currently free at the moment I believe, as it is in testing mode. I, myself, am thinking of testing it this year to incorporate into my marketing.
You can see his post about it on this forum, but the download is available on the beesrocket website. Just google beesrocket linbooster (as I can't post any links yet due to my post count:drinking2)

Don't worry, I'm not affiliated in any ways. I'm just helping.
I hope that help :)
* If you use it, keep me posted with your testing!

Thats a shame, i just discovered it and today i'm told it nolonger works??????

Hi guys I am getting 301 errors from linkedin from my ip address and account after viewing approx 700 profiles in a 24 hour period, anybody else experiencing this?

Yes, LinkedIn tracks how many "actions" you perform, viewing profiles are the most expensive of all, my bot will usually trigger at around 700 to 1,000 profile views before triggering the anti-robot response. The error you get is on purpose and to prevent abuse. If you constantly trigger the anti-robot response your account will be suspended and possibly perma-banned.

Generally I spread my profile views out over many days, a few hundred on this day, a few hundred on that day, but never the exact same number of profile views each day. I wrote a Firefox plugin that lets you circumvent certain invite "restrictions" to connect even if you have been IDK'd too many times or you want to connect with someone who doesn't want to be connected with -- just don't let your account go to review, otherwise, boom! Banned if someone sees you have hundreds of IDKs but are still inviting to connect.

Thank you very much for the reply fiftyshadesofblack! Do you know how many times you need to trigger the anti robot before suspension? I think this is a little strange, surely recruiters could easily view 700 profiles in a day?

That I don't know. I am guessing it is probably based on a few factors, but nothing concrete that I can say "don't do this." Sorry. I suspect recruiters can probably view more than 700 profiles per day but... I suspect that recruiters that pay for the full recruiter account get a little more leeway because they are LinkedIn's bread and butter. I have a database of about 20,000 scraped LinkedIn profiles stored in a database, i.e. my immediate 1st level and then the 2nd level connections. I have been thinking of ways to get multiple people contributing to a common database of information that everyone that contributes can also extract information from.

Tried Linbooster... it's not working. I think it gave me a facebook virus.

Looking for an alternative very simple profile viewing bot.

linkedinshack finally did it

it works great, just bought it yesterday, they have a trial version too

Tested the LinkedIn Shack on a VM and it doesn't work as a heads up to anyone thinking about it.

Hey
you can try LInkedinDominator
its SUPER
you can get the trial at skype
add me at facedominatorsupport in skype

If you abuse the speed of visiting the profiles you can get your account limited.
Thats something that I already tested and thats why you should focus on 200 visits per day at random times.
I am going to implement this soon as an update on something Im working on, drop me a PM if you need more details.

That sounds great I'll be waiting for that update. Visiting profiles is a great way to get extra views and traffic to your LinkedIn.

I am also looking for the author of linkedinshack. Anybody please tell me about the author. I heard this bot from many others.
