Hello guys! Recently I'm trying to do paid ads on LinkedIn targeting all the high-level people, but the cost per 1000 reach is really high, and there's data called "audience penetration". I'm not sure how to deal with it; do you have any suggestions?

Like once I'm trying to post an ad with an estimated audience of 170,000 in Singapore, the total cost per 1000 reach of 10 days is almost 50 USD. After two days, the audience penetration is about 2.2%. I believe the audience we are targeting is the right one, but the point is the cost is too high, I want to find a way to lower the reach cost. Yet if the cost is really that high, I need to prove it to my boss that the cost is that high and in order to make the penetration to 60%, we will have to pay that price.

Thanks everyone!

The smaller the audience the more expensive the CPM. Try expanding your audience and using targets that work but are unusual. If you're using something another marketer may have thought of already, chances are a lot of them did, so it becomes more expensive. Unusual targets are cheaper, less competition.

I understand what you say, something I can try. But about audience penetration do you have any experience on it?

I need penetration experts and have sufficient budget. If you are a technical talent in this area, please contact me.

Can I invite you to help me do paid advertising on LinkedIn?

$50 CPM? Ouch. Have you tried narrowing down the audience with more specific job titles or industry keywords to see if that lowers the cost, even if it means a smaller initial reach?
