Hi,
I'm a Dutch guy with mostly Dutch (affiliate) websites and in January I started a website in the UK. However, I'm not sure as to what the right direction would be regarding linkbuilding.
I hired a Dutch guy to do some SEO, but so far I mostly got low value Dutch (.nl) backlinks which do not make me very happy. I also think Google will flag too much Dutch links for a UK based website at some point in the future, especially since the UK website is hosted on a Dutch server. I'm quite hesitant to using PBN's b/c I've experienced Google's power in the past using those.
In the Netherlands I have a network of people to whom I can reach out to for SEO services for Dutch websites, so I can combine and coordinate their offers to what I deem best. I like that b/c I always have control over the backlinks that they (don't) place. But since the UK is new territory I don't have any contacts there yet and as such no means to coordinate getting relevant and valuable backlinks myself.
I guess many webmasters here have expanded their business into others countries at some point in their career and I wonder what your advice is on this matter. Also, if you happen to have any valuable contacts or websites active in the UK, please let me know.
Thanks in advance!
