Some advice needed please ... Linking from a product page to an article summary [precis] on the Home page via an id="article" VS linking directly to the separate article page .... better for SEO or not?
Full article page sits at domain/article ....
Article precis on home page (for SEO purposes) with 'read more' link to above full article page ....
Used <h2 id="article">article name</h2> on article heading on home page ....
From product page am linking to Domain/#article which resolves to article summary on home page
Will this be more beneficial for SEO, (linking to home page) or would there be no difference at all? (is domain/#segment seen as a url separate to the index url rather than the same url?)
