Link Pyramid Strategy

Hey fellow members, am just staring off with SEO and blackhatworld has been a great help. I have learnt quite a lot in a short period of time I have been here for. I just have a few questions regarding link pyramid and would appreciate if anyone could answer them. So here they are:

(1) How may anchor text links should be pointing to my money site from each tire 1 blog? (Am thinking of 2; 1 to main page and 1 to inner page).

(2) How many posts should each tire 1 blog contain?

(3) Can I make same blogs in Tire 2? Like if my tier 1 consists of blogspot, wordpress, tumblr, posterous and weebly, then can I make these blogs in tire 2 as well to link to tire 1?

(4) On tire 2, I'm planning to link each blog to 3 different tire 1 blogs and interlink some. Is it ok if I do so?

And another quick question. How is Google calculation the Page Rank these days? I made a blog on blogbaker, posted 3 unique articles (250-300 words each) and left it there. After one month, it has PR 2 without a single link pointing to it? Is content this important after Panda update?

First Tier you should use your main keyword
2nd tier related to your main keyword
3rd related to your 2nd tier keywords.70% main and 30% related keywords.

if i may add one more question:

Do i need to always post content to my money site and put link [to money site] at every post?

That's fine. Anything from 1-3 links is Ok. Also, a good idea to vary your anchor text.

No prescribed number, but can be typically 5. Some swear that 3 is Ok, others keep adding posts; so, 10+.

You could try this, but a better way would be to link 3+ tier 2 blogs to 1 tier 1 blog. Again, you could test the interlinking, but I've found no benefit from it.

The PR is likely to be passed down from the root domain.
