Link pushing from multiple domains, same ip.

I have a money site and several link pushing sites. When I first started making the link pushing sites they seemed to have a pretty good effect on the serp of the money site. I was a bit surprised at the impact so I went full speed ahead and made many more of the link pusher sites. It seems like adding more and more sites is not having much of an effect.

I was talking to a friend of mine about seo tactics. He told me that since all the sites are hosted on the same IP they might not have much of an effect. He said that you need to have the pusher sites on different ips and even on different networks. He said that I might even be getting penalized for having the pusher sites on the same ip.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Am I really getting penalized?

Would moving the pusher sites to multiple IPs help? Even if the IPs are on the same network?

Any info that you all could provide on this subject would be greatly appreciated. -Thanks

I know for a fact that you need to be using different IPs when you are building linkpushing sites to your money site.

G sees the same IP and discounts the benefit if they are all on the same IP.

You need different IPs in different cites/countries if you are going to do that yourself correctly.

I understand Google sees all sites on the same ip as one site. Get the sites on seperate ips.
