Frankly, link exchanges don't work anymore.. Neither for SEO, not for traffic.. People now see them as obvious..

But i believe any links which is considered as quality links are good link for any site.

If you are doing exchange the links with quality sites, you must go ahead.

yeah, backlink is good and link exchange will give good result.
