hi guys

Is it possible to get de ranked by google for using buffer account to rank. A company on this forum set up buffers accounts, they had a great feedback on this forum but it got us de ranked,,

we've been de- ranked from page 2 on google to page 40 for all the keywords we used on a package we bought on here last month.

i have since taken down the links but we have now lost 75% traffic since we set up the buffers

any help on this would be great

cheers

If you would like to share the service link...

The first thing I would do, OP, is to contact the seller and see if he or she can help you out.

There may be some suggestions they can offer that would balance out what they offered or perhaps they can make some adjustments in what they built for your site.

If all you were doing is buying a link package and not balancing that package out with proper anchor text diversification, other backlinks, a decent inlinking velocity process, proper onsite SEO, etc, then the issue may not be on their end but most providers will take some time and offer some thoughts on your site for you for free to make sure that you are on the right path.

Agree you should give the seller the benefit of the doubt OP, also it would be nice to know some more details anyway - like what rank you were before you bought those buffers, what other work you had done, what other links you had built, what your anchor text ratio was like, what anchor texts you used for hte buffers etc.

What i think you should do is reply with the name and the link of the thread of the service. We should all know. You may give him the benefit of the doubt, but again share the service thread link.

When buying SEO services from here you must have known the risk before you started?

It's part of the game we play.

As for the other replies, unless the seller has promised something along the lines of "increased rankings" and sold snake oil there is nothing the buyer can do. I would expect most sellers to give advise and help the guy out, but in truth this is the buyers fault and its luck of the draw.

I know this reply does not really help you OP but honestly if you break the rules and buy these links you just have to accept the risk before you do it.

You can't wrestle alligators then complain you lost an arm. It happens.
