Link building strategy help needed!

Hello all,

I've been browsing these forums for about a month and I'd like to thank everyone. +1

I've built my main money site and it has to do with mobile phones and contracts.

I want to keep this site 60% whitehat and 40% blackhat.

The competition is FIERCE! But I plan to play on the niches get me traffic.

To begin with how should I approach link building? I will be buying a spot on hotvsnot which is a PR6 directory for $60 for 6 months.

I only want to build link relevant to electronics.

I will be writing a article a day for the site. How should I market these?

Yes I'm a n00b but can I have you suggestions please??

It's best to start building authority links right away, by that I mean get links from different networks that will get you content links.

Also get into different forums that are about your niche and get started there as well, don't forget the signature.

I'm on most of the main forums like xda and comment on engadget and other big blogs.

How shall I approach this? I maybe post 30-40 a day.

Yeah post only in the amount that you can, don`t go overboard, it is good to get your 'brand' out there but it won't help you rank too much.

Focus most of your effort on writing articles and slapping them on different link networks, the ones you have to pay for monthly are the best in my opinion and will give you results a lot faster than anything else.
 
Start buying some services like forum,blog comment etc then if you get any results buy the tools.
 
If you are starting out just right now on this website I wouldn't recommend getting tools and large amount of links, it might be too obvious that you are gaming the system. It is better to start off slow and clean as much as possible, especially since you said you wanted to go mostly white hat.
 
Get yourself some good linkbuilding software - there are plenty of options nowadays. Mix them up and get yourself a good variety of links.
