Link Building Strategy for Micro Niche Site

I have a micro niche site and the only strategy i am using is top 10 article directories.

I have some questions in my mind. :confused:

I submit 1 article daily in top 10 directories, PR 3-6 so in this way i guess i will get back link only from 10 different IP. I will do this for next 3 months.

Am i following the wrong strategy.:confused:
 
Advertise on BHW
Don't use only article directory links. Mix it up. You could get some profile backlinks or backlinks from web 2.0
 
You'll need to do a little more than that. You need a variety of backlinks.

I have a confusion about profile links.

I got paul links this month but no boost in ranking. I do not know if i should ping those profiles.

What i did was i follow the guideline of paul [ signup and add signature ] that's it.

Last month i did profile wheels and those profiles are not in web index even not considered as a backlink. But after 7 days of wheel from 2nd page i was jumped to 1st page. :confused:


Please help me in understanding profile links.

1- Should i ping them?
2- Should i submit to search engine's?
3- Why don't Google or Yahoo consider them as a backlink?
4- After doing profile links within how many days ranking can boost?
5- What is the purpose of Profile Links?

Yes you should ping the profile links because sometimes they can be tough to get indexed by google.

How many days it takes to see a boost in rankings really depends on your competition. The best thing to do is not worry about it but carry on making backlinks.

Thanks, what should be the frequency of back links per month.

I plan to build 50 profiles ( paul only )
10 article to 10 Article Directories
5 Web 2.0 Properties :rolleyes:

For Micro Niche Sites I recommend to you very easy and really workable strategy.

First. Create 50 - 100 Profile Links.
Second. Social Bookmark the website's home page to many social bookmarks as much as possible.
ONLY Third is submit articles to top 10 Article Directories.
Fourth: make some Blog Commenting near 100 coments.

Wait for the links to get indexed. When the links get indexed you'll see a good improvement with the ranks.
Work on, Article Submission, Profile Links and Blog Comments until you reach top of Google.

what would you do for long tail keyword? Been trying to rank my site for 6 new kw but im not ranking for them at all. Im tired of creating new microniche, I want to use the ones I alreay have to rank for other kw.

Write some relevant content for that longtail keyword and subsequently build backlinks to your main domain and to the page that targets the longtail keyword - make sure to use the Longtail KW as the anchor text.

I'd like to add to this very solid advice.

Many people think micro-niche site and what comes to mind is a 5 - 6 page site with about 4000 words on it.

That is fine for starters but like acotut suggests, adding to that site on a regular basis will make your site all that much stronger and backlinking to that content will make Google fall in love with you.

Add content on a regular basis, backlink that content and watch your site get ranked nicely.
 
content is kink my friend,I'v repeatlly suggested this advise on many threads here,you can also read my latest thread ,a lot of tips are in there.

Same backlink straregy for sub page content is ok?
 
First things first: If you have money, buy a software doing all these things automatically.

How can i get BMD at cheap rate.

BTW I bought AMR and SC last month but AMR says submit to xxx directories but 3-4 live links only. :confused:
 
First do all your work manually then after some time buy some softwares to automate the task.

I am doing the same :)
