Link building for brand new sites

Relevent backlinks is the key man!

And what about creating a lot of backlinks to YOUTUBE URL's ?!

If I create a lot of backlinks, do I have any risk to have my YT URL's not ranked ?

Thanks for your answers ;)

I think the there are three sides to every story.

2-3 per day.

2000-3000 per day.

Maybe somewhere in the middle.

I like the "what looks natural" approach. New site, new original content, lots of new inbound links from various "types" of sites. If I was a search engine, what would I think?

Look at it through google goggles.

I watched a G video where this guy was talking about something and he mentioned "their tools" in reference to spammers. It made it sound like the have ways to manually detect/flag sites. They have BILLIONS of dollars, it would not be unrealistic to think they have a small army of nerds manually checking the computer flagged sites that follow a "blackhat" pattern of some sort. This is just my opinion.

G has physiologists, programmers with PHD's and an unlimited supply of money to detect/combat this stuff.

Worrying about a site getting sandboxed is like worrying about getting in a car accident. Just do it.
LOL The bit about worrying about getting sand boxed and getting hit by a car just do it. I like it

well i think you should create some web 2.0 properties linked to your website and start link building for those web 2.0 properties. In this way your main website will be safe from getting sandboxed.

What web 2.0 properties do you use exactly?

This sounds like a good method though. A nice way to build strong back links instead of a random blog blast.

how can google realistically define "relevancy"?

there is no way imo

i also have a new site im trying to build links on

Changed metatags almost every 3 days, mainly page title description and keywords.

I havent used Strong tag or H3 but I will as soon as I get to page 1 for my main keywords.

Do you rotate through a list of them or are they all unique? Do you just re-order the same words or try to find new ones all the time? Writing

I have 3 days ago started a new web site and was indexed in few hours. After this i am already blasting this site to the hell with SB, already ranking for main keyword (178).

thanks for all the feed back guy im sure everyone will benefit from it.

i am actually targeting very easy terms as im doing the micro niche adsence methods and have had reasonable success but am falling down in this area..

I have heard that 20-50 links in this method will get top 5 as i am going for green lit keywords in micronichfinder.

I have purchased article blueprint and blog blueprint will try out these tools to see if i can develop a base strategy for each site as i am launching about 20 sites a month i need a clear nit strategy.

do you guys have any experience or advice for these types of sites and tools?

with too fast link building you can get very worse results -definitely!
last week I was listed with >50 keywords in google, started building backlinks in forums, and now most of the keywords are gone - only 5 left. I've also found out in google webmaster forums you get condemned for too fast link building by google with taking out the most important keywords of the index. And that's the truth, sorry. It's a fact for my site. So NGTF (never grow too fast)

best regards, dope!

if i write articles that get spun for freetrafficsystem, and there end up being repeated links from the same sites from there, does that hurt me or help me?

more than one backlink from one site does not a good job for you, it's decreasing the pagerank

Is that by these guys? http://www.blueprintblack.com/P2tools/

I just started using that to build up good backlinks.

With your personal circumstance, the only issue might be not having enough content, or onsite SEO, because a few backlinks should not sandbox you or hurt you, and a lot of people say you cant get a negative effect from backlinks (otherwise you would do it to your competitor)

Of course it Can. Google knows the relationship between words. Computer have been able to for years now. For instance it would know a page about cats is more relevant to a page about dogs, than a page about Cakes.

G00gle has gone on record as saying they couldn't penalize for too many backlinks or
else someone could send massive backlinks and get their competitor sandboxed. This
could cause total anarchy. To be safe, g00gle loves content. Make your links content links e.g. articles, videos, images, press releases, then take these links and
rss them.

yes exactly. very well said. there are plenty of other threads here in bhw where members did studies on their competitors sites where they literally blasted away on their competitors site with multiple spam links and the end result was a better ranking for their competitors.

and yes, gooogle definitely does love content, that is why article links are important.
