Are article directories dead in 2015? I was going to use high PR directories like ontoplist, abc-directory, and siteswebdirectory to post 1,000 word articles that are of good quality and link to my site, and then boost those articles with IWriter submissions and UAW.

Is this a bad idea? Should I include more or less directories, which ones? Should I even bother?

Thanks,
Richard

it won't work as a single source of links. But diversity is the key, so having a few articles out there can't hurt.

Just don't make it your sole source of links or you'll get burned.

They were spammed to death about 3 years ago. People still use them but they don't do what they once did. Though as they become less popular they may return. But quality must be high.

I'm sure that you must use diversified link profile and article directories can be one of your instrument.

i still submit couple of articles here and there as every one up stated good for diversity

I wouldn't waste my time/content unless maybe one/two posts for diversity sake.
