Limiting new thread creation is great
With no limit on Replies
And a 5 Minute hold on replies

Or limiting, or add a captcha validation for each new post if each post are posted each minute. This way, real spammers will be annoyed to fill out the captcha every time

Nah not captcha... this is just getting annoying... Not only for the spammers but for the new active members...

maybe introduce a filter on the introduction section
that allows 2/3 posts a day, to stop newbies spamming
15x welcome to bhw in 5/10 mins .....

If so many limits are placed at the first place, newbies will move to some other forum.
