"Like this" replaced "Become a fan"

LOL maybe they are just playing games with us, cause , yes, its become a fan again....so now everyone who changed their stuff has to change it back.

FB is way too much confused.

LOL I didn't change a thing. People will see I'm not all time on the computer and they know very well that 'Become a Fan to see......' now they should click 'Like'.

I mean, it's not like someone who just joined facebook and is searching where is the f*ckin 'Become a fan' while he is I seeing only 'Like' :D

But I really liked it more than than 'Become a Fan'

I think it was just a simple test. It should be official soon.

i saw that change on fan pages and my first impressions are:
positive:obviously more people would click "like" than the became a fan button..
negative:1)for adding friends from big fan pages using any tool facewizard, blaster pro and collecting id's now with this change it's impossible..
2)if someone click "like" on your page then he is not notified with status updates of your page..
3)no mass messages to fans..
4)its more difficult for a fan page to go viral, because if i click "like" on a page non of my friends will see that i liked that..in the past if i click "became a fan"for a page all my friends will see that on their home page...
i m missing something else?

you can still mass message!
check before posting

I don't think they tested it since they officially announced it on their blog. They just took it off to fix something probably

it may take some time for this change to implement properly but rest assure its permanent

This is how they go about these changes...they do a temporary test on all people and then switch back and then begin apply the permanent changes gradually...hope it is a good move and hope they don't disable the social_graph link trick ;)

hmm hopefully this doesnt alter stuff bc my pages were starting to get going!

Anyone alter their 3 step codes yet? i could use a good 2 step one

@clownbaby I can help you out. I'll sent you a PM.

LOL.. maybe FB engineers lurking around this thread and playing with u guys :D

i am sure it was a test or they are having some problems to implement the change but this will become permanent

"Very shortly thereafter, Facebook launched Community Pages. Now, users can "like" topics, such as cooking or hip hop, in addition to brands, such as Sur La Table or Eminem. These community pages aren't run by individuals, so they don't have a wall and don't send updates to users' feeds. Instead, they import streams of related, public content from user status messages."
