I have seen a lot of time that sellers here sell some software they develop in the marketplace with a lifetime license and after a while, they stop developing it and their thread is also shut.

Don't you think this is also a scam?? And can we shitlist those sellers??

I am talking as i bought one and the seller has stopped updating the software but he regularly visits bhw.

As long as he is doing that Business = lifetime
I dont think any one can give you "real" lifetime so it is always like that

Similar to sentences in the UK, seems to be various conditions attached to it. Life doesn't always feel like life. It's just one of those things.

Its a common thing.

Like years ago when i srarted in smm and was buying some service with "lifetime refill warranty"

So months go by and a customer contacts me about a drop, and i contact the seller for a refill, seeing as i had lifetime refill warranty.

The seller tells me its only lifetime as long as they can provide that service. They couldnt provide it anymore, so they couldnt do a refill.

Ohhh, i see what you did there

Agreed, but if they should mention in a disclaimer that lifetime validity is only for a year or two. Not nitpicking anyone and will not name anyone. What's the point of paying a hefty amount for a lifetime if i knew it would only last for a year?? I could have paid for a yearly license lol

Lifetime could mean few months, a year max that’s what I believe when I see sellers selling it, in your bst is live yea SL, but if it’s closed contact the support using the support form for more clarification

Lifetime doesn't mean your or the seller's lifetime, it's the lifetime of the product. Although i think there should be a minimum tenure stated, when you buy such stuff or else a partial refund imho.

On the other hand many products (e.g. social media bots) are in a grey area and they can be shut down in any minute, so when you buy such a product, you need to calculate with this risk.

Lifetime is lifetime.

Yes you can open a SL with the required information as outlined in the sticky thread in the SL subforum that @Zwielicht posted.
