Hey gang,

I'm seeing several 'get stock images for free' threads but they're not working any more.
If someone were kind enough to upload a legitimately paid image URL for me (or the BHW community) to analyze, we might be able to reverse engineer it and find a way to download them for free.

Anyone have a link?

Getting the actual images is not really the problem here. Keep in mind that without an actual invoice or other proof you aquired the image legitimately, they can still come after you (how likely etc. It's obviously a separate discussion)

Hey Zanskar, thanks for the feedback! I've tried this method before and it works but can't get a hi-res version out of it. Were you able to download the full image?

Thanks,

True, that's a good method. But that's not what we're trying to crack here. Thanks for the feedback, though!

All this hassle just to get a free image, so many sites like pixabay out there. Think of how much your time is worth, cheaper to use free sites or just pay and support the original owner

Deleted member 923340 is right, of course a lot of people already tried this, so they implemented non-reversable methods.
It's not like there is a big folder where you can get each image by ID and pasting _highres_wihout_watermark.jpg at the end.
When they create a download link for you, it will most likely contain a hash which is valid only for your logged in account, maybe actual session id, and maybe also time limited.

That link results in a 410 'Gone' response code. They're definitely generating them dynamically. Thanks for the input!
