i never smoked until a few months ago, fortunately it seems i can't really get addicted to it, sometimes i smoke a pack a day for a few days and i don't smoke anything for 2-3 weeks
if anything, i think i'm addicted to the movement of lighting the cigarette & blowing the smoke, i don't actually enjoy the taste, neither the smoke in itself and i enjoy meeting random people because of it - especially hot girls - when they're walking up to me asking for lighter or cigarette
imho vape/vaping looks gay as fuck, like if you would suck on an eyeliner pen or something

, for me it's either the real deal or nothing, nothing would be the best though
quitting habits has something to do with a person's personality and how strong he/she is, not physically, but in the head
for instance when i graduated from highschool ~15 years ago, i weighed 92 kg for my 1.80 m height (it wasn't muscle) and i didn't want to start the university as a fatty, so i decided to loose weight, lots of it, i was determined as fuck, on that summer i lost 20 kg (not with the help of acai berry lol) and which is even more important: since then i didn't gain it back, i'm still around 70 kg
i know loosing weight and quitting smoking are not the same things, but the same thing is needed for both: strong will & determination, which worth more than any magic pills, those may help, but just those alone won't be too much of a help
i can't really recommend you any magic tricks OP, you can find those all over the net, but i'm with you, let's quit smoking
