Just adding a few points here for those who don't know.
Autoplays are NOT counted as views, haven't been for quite a while now. So if that was your plan, try something else.
Real views freeze around the 200-300 mark, but will kick back in a few hours later. I have 2 videos created yesterday with 1,000+ real views(before the youtube update tonight). They froze around 250-300 then kicked back in.
Accounts created with banned/flagged IPs can be frozen for 1 week+ around the 200 mark, if they are not deleted.
Use new IPs to create new accounts and clean IPs to upload videos. Now will be a good time to change your IP address, if you haven't done so in a while.
Delete, delete, delete cookies! Set Firefox to delete youtube and google cookies every session(when Firefox closes). Same can be done for Opera. For extra reinforcement use another program, I use Cookie Crumble, set to delete cookies every time there's an IP change.
Boosting ratings/comments with flagged IPs can get your videos deleted, especially if the account was created with a flagged IP. You don't need that many ratings to see a difference anyway, so there's no need to go crazy. Be creative, if you need to boost ratings and make sure there's enough of a delay b/w ratings/comments. 20 comments in 10 mins = suspicious.
Channel views are still being counted and can improve the position of your videos, again, be careful and don't go too crazy.
Use annotations to send real views from a more popular video to a new one/channel.
If you are a serious Internet Marketer, you probably have a website or 2, or 3 - put your videos on them, especially the high-traffic sites/blogs(embedded without autoplay), these are real views and every bit counts right now.
Stuff like this happens to make us sit up and stop being so comfortable, as annoying as it is. From now on, find ways to maintain some kind of database/ online group etc of people interested in your services. Say you had a list of 2-3000 people right now, you could send out a bulletin with your new video(s) = real views.
As tempting as it might be, this is probably not a good time to be greedy/crazy - use videos you don't really care too much about to test stuff out. If whatever you try works, then you'll have a video with a top position - work the traffic.
Don't expect everything to be free, if you are/were making good money, then skip a few beers this week and put that $$$ towards some traffic that might work and bring in more $$$.
Less traffic means we have to work harder and be a bit more persuasive right now, make more videos, experiment with different keywords, add your voice to your videos, telling people to click that link, subscribe to your channel, or go to abc.com.
I'll probably think of a few more tips/ideas I use, but that's it for now. I have some new videos to make.
