I just tried it and it works...

It prompts you to save the file - there is no web page to open.

If you're having a problem, it's something to do with your computer.
 
I guess the weird AIM bot thing IS his flyer... IDK how he made money or anything off of it. Weird use too...

i have found yellow paper with black text is more of a eye catcher
i worked at a printers as a sales rep for a while
 
Yeah I think a better return on investment would be had with a white background and paying a professional designer to do the flyers.
 
go to home depot, there are tons of unemployed willing to do anything for a buck, especially if it involves walking and sticking flyers.. .. kinda like vegas where the "mexicans" on the street giving out those ever lovingly bs cards
 
I have an Idea that screams out for flyer advertising..
I have searched the net for templates and am having trouble finding any thing I like ..
I am looking for something along the lines of the corkboard cash tear offs

oh and one other thing .... my copy writing sucks real bad, so I could use some good examples of make money flyer copy to make a swipe file

When you have something that you can tell right off the bat is hand-written, it grabs your attention. The person is almost guaranteed to read the first line at least, if not the whole flyer.

Another old method is to make it look like a ticket. Fold it in thirds to get the right size, or have each page made into 3 flyers.

If you're gonna tape flyers to cars and doors, tape them the opposite way (so it looks like a blank piece of paper). The people will be intrigued and will then turn it over and read everything.

Holy shit, why did i never thought of this. Thanks alot for this, btw I do spread flyers at parking lots and plazas and will take this into play for sure.!!
 
Corrected the address and the buddy pdf doesn't load.

Even checked site search on google...it's gone.

Great tips. Just got back from posting flyers myself, and this thread is just what I was looking for.
Anyone try posting flyers at universities? I feel like they would be immediately removed; any ideas/tips would be appreciated.
