I'm looking for ideas myself, but here is what I've discovered so far. Enjoy DESIGN: A black background with big white letters gets more attention. Use tabs at the bottom, make sure you include the subject of what they tore off, and any contact info. The most important element of a flyer is AUTHENTICITY! Promote it with a testimonial, credibility, make it look not like an advertisement, etc. Simple designs stand out. Some of the best are just a simple tagline, a big picture of an iPhone in the middle, and call to action. If you live in a place where neon flyers are EVERYWHERE... DONT USE NEON COLORS. Use pastel to give your flyer more authenticity. Be sure to include an element of exclusivity to intrigue them further. The general idea is catchline -> MAYBE an interesting picture (only if you can do color or a big ass money sign) -> call to action (website name). Website MUST be a simple name. No numbers in domain!!! Prefer if the words rhyme (although this takes away from authenticity). DISTRIBUTION: If you're gonna tape flyers to cars and doors, tape them the opposite way (so it looks like a blank piece of paper). The people will be intrigued and will then turn it over and read everything. NEVER JUST PASS OUT FLYERS TO A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WALKING AROUND!!! ITS A WASTE. For flyers to be effective you must TARGET. Whether that be a mall, a bunch of people in a park, forest, video game conference, etc. NEVER just pass them out to people walking around the street. Save yourself walking time, spread out flyers in parking lots where you know people are gonna come back and be like "piece of paper facing away on windshield?! Must read!" Bathrooms are a great place to advertise b/c you have someones undivided attention for a couple minutes. Like I said, TARGET your offer to where the demographic hangs out. Don't sell a fishing rod to a bunch of people playing xbox at an event, to go bass pro shop parking lot. I'm still looking for more, if you guys wanna share what you've found. Don't worry about this niche getting filled... offline is way different that online.
