About me
I am notable. Today I am starting thread about my journey to 5000 USD / month from shopify store. I think I am being realistic. I have been in the internet for quite a years, done couple of successful projects and now my plan is to create income from this eshop that I am planning to open. But before that, I will tell what I can do at the moment:

• I have been SEO expert for 6 years, doing offpage and inpage optimisations for my clients. Of course, the most important job was to reach good results.
• I have been running web agency for 3-4 years. It has been successful in our local market.
• I have launched a successful startup in finance niche. I was an e-currency exchanger.

The GOAL
1. Duration: 3 months (could get extented)
2. Profit: 5000 USD
3. Sustanaible business

Methods
I will try various methods of promoting my products. Including facebook ads, google adwords, remarketing, maybe I even will do instagram (not sure right now, cause I personally believe that it takes a lot of time to prepare instagram accounts and the ads are overpriced in the pages).

Niche
I'll keep it a secret, because when everybody is doing the same niche, I doesn't go well for all of us. But however, it won't be a mainstream niche, because as my analysis showed, they are too crowded for new players and the second thing is that it is quite a perfect competition thing - where everybody could enter and do business, and even if you are a leader in your niche for one, the day after that could be worse.

Motivation
As for some of the time I have been doing CPA projects, now I would really like to find a niche and to whitehat stuff. And this online retail business that I have in my mind will be fine. I will update this thread as fast as I could, even if the results are bad.

By the way guys... Why is everybody writting that their goal is 1000 usd / day? It's a very difficult goal to reach, and it is not good to start with such big goals. Because if you do anything in small steps, it would be easier and more scalable.

My expectations
I actually won't care if I fail. I am doing this for getting more knowledge in online marketing. I have got a lot of experience in e-commerce, but more in the UI/UX side, and not the marketing part (excluding SEO of course).

Also, I am just hoping this business will at least bring back the money I invest. I will do everything as it should be and I don't believe that is possible to do such business without even a penny.

If anybody will have any questions - just write them below. And I am continuing to start the works. I have really a lot of stuff to do. I'll keep you informed!

UPDATE NO. 1

So, I am reporting the things I have done today.

1. First of all, I have contacted PayPal because I need my permanent limitation to be removed. Some time ago I was doing some things (to be specific exchanging currency) with PayPal and my account got permanently banned. So, I have called them and now in a couple of days I think they will inform me what to provide and we will do this. otherwise, I will just one of my closest person's PayPal, and it won't be a big issue. But the primary goal is to have my own. For all those who are planning and thinking that PayPal is not important - I have also though that it is like this, but now... Well, you see my problem.
2. The second thing I have done is to start speaking with stripe about possible partnership. Badly, my country is not in the list, and according to my analysis, Stripe is the best option. So, well see what works out. Right now I am in the middle of the cha.
3. Today I have registered as sole proprietor in my local country. That will help because I will need to provide business data.
4. I also have ordered Visa Credit card, so that I can buy things online.

Also, what I have forgot to mention is that my current spending limit before billing is 250$. But the good news is that I have enough of the budget to do testing. But as you can guess it I will try do my best.

There will be no updates today.

UPDATE NO. 2

Eventually the worst scenario has happened:

1. Paypal has rejected my appeal, which will make everything more difficult for me.
2. Stripe doesn't have the posibility to work with my country.

That is a bit sad. But however, I am not planning to surrender this easily. The funny thing is that for the most of the users, they don't have problems like I do which makes them everything a lot easier. But, it doesn't matter - world is not fair and I already know that
