Lessons Learned Running SEO Service and BST for Two Years

While I am obviously very new to BHW I am not new to business. We all should listen up and listen quite closely as this is a very smart guy!

I have to apologize for bringing this back from the dead; I will mention that it didn't seem that far underground and feel it should be brought to light for others to read and for curiosity's sake. Again, my apologies.

I can only give you a number of figures. Six.Five figures you can do alone in the bedroom, for six you'll need some level of scale, via processes, outsourcing and hiring, automation, etc.My personal opinion, if you want 7-8 figures of revenue per year in five years, SEO services orconsulting is a wrong business model. It won't scale that much. That SEO Moz in your signature were SEO consulting shop, but they wouldn't raise $19 mln ofventure capital if they'd remain it. They dropped consulting in favour of software that can bescaled infinitely and they grew like crazy.

If you do not mind me asking, are those figures how much you are taking home? A simple smile can answer that question if you wish not to specify ;)Do you currently own "money sites" (sites that have CPA) for you to make, what I can assume by this point, supplemental income?I am curious to know if you have diversified your income. I figure that the business you are running would allow for no reason to diversify your income; time would probably be best spent towards the business, but I am a curious birdy. On that note, do you find yourself pushing towards offering software-based product(s) as opposed to SEO services? I would figure things can really balloon, in size, if both are offered.

Well, I agree I actually bought a tablet I didn't need. Now I can read BHW on Tapatalk while taking a dump.I prefer treats to be experiential rather that stuff though. Like going skydiving or something like that.

That is funny you mention that; I bought a Samsung Tab 3 7.0 for $50 which is perfect for me to take it with me to anywhere I wish. I do most of my lurking, reading, researching, dreaming, interacting etc on this since I have no laptop.

That's right.BTW, I omitted the part when I came to Australia with a family in 2005 with less thana month worth of money which I borrowed and had to pay back ASAP.We slept on the inflatable mattress which we borrowed from the guy I met on theforum in empty room until we picked up some furniture on the street. We were luckythere was a local council rubbish collection week when we arrived. After that I appreciate simple things like have a bed to sleep in

The post you made, no, the posts you have made are educational, inspirational and thought provoking. Reading the post in quote above adds to it more than ten-fold. Hell bells, it is like as many folds as there are in the legendary Masamune blade (a blade with metal that has been folded +1, 000 times).

Reminds me of a quote, one of many favorite quotes."If you are going through hell, keep going." -Winston Churchill

It is as if life stood before you as a man with a sheathed sword and a firm grasp on the handle much like yourself. Standing at arm's length, is there any time to doubt, to wonder, to ask why must this be the way it is? None of those questions matter, especially, when you have a family, loved ones close behind you. Your grasp on the handle was firm, your area to strike was known, no hesitation made as you flicked the blade from its stillness to either meet flesh or steel.

Life, for some individuals, cannot be easily cut. There are moments when clashes are made, but to cut it is a different manner. A person will have to possess enough determination, enough spirit to execute with no hesitation, no second guessing, no doubt.

I feel a person can have the strength to cut God if there is enough spirit put into the motion, but then that's another mentality to grasp - the motion, the act of stepping forth and taking action regardless of failure or success. When it comes down to it, failure is certain if there is no action.

For me, life has a better grasp on its handle than I do. I find myself wondering if my blade is sharp enough, if I am strong enough to plunge my blade into what stands before with me haste and no mercy.

Posts like this, people like you, this message board and the members here gives me motive to find my handle and hone my blade.

I have been working in the retail environment at a shop that offers me less and less as time passes, but increases in demand. My moments of freedom are spent perching here and there on this board so I may learn from others how to change my circumstance, how to possess more value than what I am currently valued.

"Open your eyes and look within; are you satisfied with the way you're livin'?" -Bob Marley in the song "Exodus"

I wish to take flight and experience this world. I wish to visit new places, get in harm's way, meet people who I hope to consider as friends. My financial circumstance is strangling me towards uncertainty.

I will let life cut me as it sees fit so that I may strike back with divine retribution.

I am in the process of acquiring a small loan ($3000-$5000) to put my ideas into motion. This loan will come at a price that is worth more than the load; my motorcycle, which is one of few freedoms I possess. I am willing to suffer the deep cut that will be made so that I can become stronger and push myself into more freedoms than one.

So, with this post, which is longer than I intended, and Lou Donaldson's "Blues Walk" playing, I thank you for your time put into enlightening me and others.

I will be perching here and there on the board. You may not hear it, but my thanks will be given from afar.
