Lessons learned/mistakes made in CPA?

Hello! Would anyone like to share some things they wished they did differently when they first started CPA?

For me: I started off very motivated, read everything I could and when my CPA offer didn’t get any clicks, I got discouraged psychologically and lost my motivation. In retrospect, I should have tried paid ads with testing and kept with it until something worked. Total income is $0 but trying again!

What would you do differently?

Scared Money Doesn't Make Money.
This lesson is not just applicable to CPA but to many variables in life.
I've learned to be more willing to risk losing money, to have even a slender possibility of doubling / tripling that money.
This probably plays in to part the crippling debt that America has and the fact that leaving the money in my bank account depletes its value.

For Paid Advertisements with CPA I recommend you be cautious.
This isn't as easy as it used to be. There will be hurtles you need to be immediately aware of before even starting.
probably most important is "A game plan for WHEN your account get banned."
Notice how I purposely didn't say "IF" your account gets banned.

Good post bro. For other users benefits I think we should add that account bans are common for those running social I.E Facebook & Search.

If you run Native, Push or PPV traffic you usually just get a slap on the wrist and after making requested changes you’re good to go

This is based on choosing networks with good support though! Like VoluumDSP for native.
 
I don't know if this applies to everyone but what I've learned is not to scale too fast. Learn first and experiment then once the result is consistent then that's where you scale slowly.

I wish I knew how to track the campaigns properly when I first got started with my CPA journey, but back then one did not have that many choices when it comes to different trackers that we see today

So yes not able to track properly was one of the biggest challenges for me when I first got started

Check your competition using vpn.
Try to find good offers.
If you cannot afford to loose money then don't go for CPA.
