Lessons Learned from Life?

They say money isn't important, love is. Well, fortunately, I love money.

1. Live everyday as its your last
2. Love those closest to you and tell them, not once a week, not once a day but whenever you can
3. Money does not make the world go round, no matter how much you think it does or how many times 'gurus' tell you
4. Enjoy the outdoors, not the virtual outdoors, the real cold, wet, windy and (occasionally in the UK) hot outdoors
5. Trust no one from the start, you will be fucked over along the line so let trust build with friendship, its more enjoyable

I could be penniless and homeless, but as long as I have the love of my family, that will feed me and keep me warm. It will be the motivation that I need to keep going.

I made a huge mistake recently where i could have made $70k, but i did something silly and i think i will regret that for long time unless i make up for it soon. Lesson learned here is that never make any decision in hurry.

Yes, that's right :) Bad times give us an opportunity to grow, to be wiser :)

I can relate to this, never make important decisions while in a hurry, or if you're tired, or drunk, lol.

The brick walls are there for a reason..
The brick walls are not there to keep us out
The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want things because
The brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough.

from "The Last Lecture" by Dr. Randy Pausch (RIP)

Learn how to overcome fear because it's the main thing that stops people from doing things.

Hindsight is 20/20. Make the best decision on all the facts you have at the time. If things go wrong don't get caught up thinking you should've done it differently. Learn from it and use that experience for future decisions.
