Lessons Learned from Life?

I was watching my friend giving some life advice few days back. I started to wonder that we all have different version of life and different lessons learned as we progressed. However, there has to be some sort of common thread among all of these lessons. Things that we can learn on our own or from watching others to grow in business or in life in general.


Considering how many of us in this forum have learned from our hard days, taking action and then rebuilding every now and then. I wanted to ask you guys a question, If you have to give one "street-smart" advice to someone, what it would be? Something you learned the hard way and you want to share it with those who are likely to make mistakes like you. Please do share. :)

Work smart; not hard.

There's a lot I've learnt during the past year, but this quote from Think and grow rich is very powerful and I strongly believe in it as not only have I experienced it myself, but I've also seen it happen with people around me.

All thoughts which have been emotionalized and mixed with faith, begin immediately to translate themselves into their physical equivalent or counterpart.

Never expect handouts. If you really want something badly in life, make a plan to achieve it.

There are those who ask questions, and there are those who figure it out.
 
Never give up - the life is not easy but you can make it easier with your positive actions. In rest - you do have to work, work and work - this is unfortunately our direction in this world

2. Money isn't all there is to life
3. Suffer now, enjoy than
4. Read a LOT, education's number 1
5. Have a few friends but real
6. Think highly of yourself
7. Do what YOU want
8. Time's far more valuable than money
9. Don't spend it ^^ on everyone
10. Get rich
11. Travel a lot
12. Don't get married until 25

So if someone is a scumbag, because you don't rat on them you are a good guy. :rolleyes:
 
Don't Involve or Share your Business to your friends.
Concentrate in any one project.
Try to understand fully about the work before you start.
Don't Trust Too Much On Anyone.
Remember There is no Steady or a lifetime methods to make monkey.
Don't Post pond your Today's work.


This are what i know practically from my life.
 
Plan your day on paper.
Start with the hardest task first.
Evaluate consequences for each task.
Take care of your good friends.
Be the person you want to be.
