Does anyone know of a reputable and legit hydroponic drop shipper?

I'm finding the same ones in searches, but there items are price quite high.

Is there a discounted price that you will only be shown if they approve you as a drop shipper or how does that work?

I see some retailers that are SO cheap, I wonder where they get there items from!

Any help much appreciated.

I think there are some gigs on fiverr that will do the legwork for you.

any place where i don't have to pay to see the info?

Then you'll have to do this instead.

Find a specific product that you want to dropship. Get the manufacturer's contact information and explain that you'd like to buy some of their products. Most likely they will be unable to offer you direct dropshipping services. They may offer you a list of wholesalers/suppliers who carry the product.

Go down the list and contact each one individually. Whenever you talk to the supplier mention that you would like dropshipping services. If they don't offer it directly, they may point you in the right direction.

Or see if you can contact someone who already has purchased a subscription to dropshipblueprint/ DOPA/ worldwidebrands. Ask them to do a search query and then you'll have the info you need.

I'm pretty sure that there are some people here on this forum who have a subscription to those but I'm not sure how willing they may be to do this fo ryou.

Thanks a lot for the info Kshatriya!

As you can tell I'm new to the whole dropshipping business aspect, but it's something that interests me, i just don't have the money to be buying subscriptions to different websites, etc at the moment.

This is kind of like a long term goal I guess you could say, I'm slowly trying to put together a website, and get it the way I want it to look first, then try to find the merchandise, etc.

I've contacted a few supposed "wholesalers" but there prices are pretty rediculous, and it just doesn't look like I could make money with there prices. Inless they have a seperate catalog, etc, with lower prices specifically for dropship clients.

Drop shipping seems like a path I want to take if I can make it work, and hydroponics is my passion, so I feel this would be the best path to take. I know there are risks with any business oppurtunities, I just hate making a few hundred dollars a week, when I know there is money to be had in other areas of life!

Thanks Again!!

Mego818,

Ya, I get what you mean, and that's why I state this is a work in progress. If I had the local market around here for these types of products, another option would be to get ahold of the wholesalers you mention, and open a store-front, etc, but I like the no-inventory that drop-shipping gives. Again, I know nothing is easy in this line of work, it's just quite a bit of a headache trying to find more information on it other then the websites that want money up front to tell you something.

I appreciate your reply, and any other advice is much appreciated!

Anyone find one that would integrate nicely with something like OpenCard? Maybe pull an xml feed daily or ftp the product updates and import in to an ecommerce product?

I need the exact same thing .. a dropshpper for hydroponic stuff. But I also need to automate how the orders are processed as I'll be a one-man band on this site I'm trying to launch.

Any additional suggestions would be great..

Thx -- CM

Have you had any luck with finding a good distributor which will dropship?
