After what happened to Tweetattacks, Tweetadder and others (link), what are the best practices to avoid being sued by a US based company?
is enough to just don't found your company in the US?

Best way not to get sued is back yourself up in the fine print and ToS.
Also yes establishing your company offshore is a great idea.
I would also look into getting your company registered as a LLC.

No, I'm sure they'd still be able to file an international lawsuit, according to the other nations laws or the laws of both countries. I guess if you were to have your company founded in a nation that would rule in your favor (which would be unlikely and still require an expensive defense) or ignore the suit altogether it could work.
