I am a NOOB. I made a couple of Websites for a specific industry that have performed incredibly well for a competitive market in two major cities earning 1, 2, 3, slots organic an also the top spots for the Google Maps section in the 7Box. I charged this guy only $600 and did a tremendous amount of work and hours over 3 months to get these positions. Now I am seeing I should be charging more, like on upwards of $500 to $1000/month from what I read here. And with the work I put in that's about right.
I WANT TO EITHER MAKE HIM PAY ME MORE OR RESELL THE POSITIONS TO SOMEONE ELSE.
In his contract I put he owns complete Copyright to the webpages. -It says nothing about source code. He also doesn't knopw what the text is on those pages, if I change it and send him his website on CD he'll never know the difference. However it says nothing about the domains which are registered in my name, and there awesome domains.
I would love to hear how you all would handle this? I am sure someone had this same exact problem starting out where you charged way less than your worth and then when your skills start to show results you know you can command more $. My thought is to just resell the sites and say fuk it. Do a redirect so someone ele gets all the SEO benefits. He takes me to small claims court- so be it. I need the mone now. What trouble am I looking at?
