So i'm recently getting into quant trading and it's very addicitve because i really love data.

I was a trader for 3 years, which wasn't a nice experince, but i learned a lot.
And i'm also a full time programming freelancer so i have an idea on how to scrape, analyse data and automate tardes.

Now i'm working on finding good strategies to automate, but i know that it's not gonna be an easy process.
Anyone have an idea or an advice? i would really appreciate any comment regarding the subject

Thank u

what kind of automation experience do you have?

noone will give you their edge on the market, start backtesting till you find something profitable.

basically web automation and large data scraping and analyzing. been doing so for years but quant trading is def something else.

agreed, but the struggle is getting the right angle to look from, u can't backtest every possible startegy possible unless u have a massive quantum computer

considering that, but needs huge filtering as i noticed most trades there are junk

A few ideas:
- ai agent run hedge hunds
- ai agent run index funds
- agent run yield farming
- agent run scalping bot
- agent run DAO
- agent run telegram prediction markets

More ideas related to ai x crypto: https://ideas.sendai.fun/

Combine it with agents now you have something people want to fund.

If you want quant stuff a lot of it is pure math.

thats awesome bro quant trading gets super addicting once u start seeing patterns fr since u already know coding n data u got a big edge maybe start backtesting simple mean reversion or momentum setups first before going deep into ml stuff keep sharing ur progress

Trading did not work you?. The principles are same as trading with quant. You will face same issues that you had with trading.
This video breaks down in simple terms.

Hunt for red days and buy the most dropped crypto.

Python + pandas + backtrader combo changed everything for me when I started.
