How did the cops trace you or find out the goods were stolen?

The deputy said you were under 10k but you had transactions of 20k already done?

The feds (secret service) will put a hold on your assets (freeze your bank accounts) and seize your computers, phones, etc. until they complete their investigation too - which can take a while. It is NOT fun and you are basically presumed guilty until proven innocent; most of your stuff is not even worth paying the lawyer for to go to asset seizure court, where it a preponderance of the evidence (whatever sounds more reasonable) as opposed to beyond a reasonable doubt, in order to get your stuff back!

Sorry for the rant but the moral of the story is don't sell stolen shit.

I was under 10k in "personal" gain, the 20k was gross sales. I've not had any assets froze or anything like that. I could have easily had that if circumstances had been different. Their not interested in me as in wanting to prosecute me, they just want my knowledge of who I was selling for and where the money went.

They traced me because I was using a ebay account with my real information because I was told the items were legit so I had no reason not too use it. Some law enforcement agency did a test purchase and it was one of the stolen ones. I never held any inventory so that helped my case as well.

stolen goods being sold can get you in pretty hot water especially if you are in possession of them when caught.

replicas are just as bad, i know this is bhw, and there are some really good stealth sellers here, but for those of your selling on e bay not using stealth accounts, stay clear from the guys advertising high risk dropship items. A. the items are always vero, which are easiest to sell but get the most attention from e bays copyright teams. B, they are giving you like $50 -$100 bucks commission and your e bay fees alone eat up most of that. I dont do it or recommend it but you can but the famount R.S. language software for like $35 bucks and sell it for $500 easily, and all you would get if you took all the risk and did dropshipping from someone on here is $50, total scam.

I wouldn't do a partnership with anyone online...too sketchy.
