Hi! Hoping someone with experience could help me decide:

GSA Scrape Genie, Leads-Sniper, and Scrapebox—which is best for lead-gen and enrichment (scraping emails, websites, social profiles, etc.) from a Google search (e.g., freelancers in Austin) and Google Maps, and possibly other sources: Social Media, etc.

About Leads-Sniper: It seems there's no need to use proxies with it. Is using a VPN recommended, or would that create crawling issues with Google? I read it has internal proxies, which would mean I wouldn't need to purchase monthly proxy services like with Scrapebox or GSA Scrape Genie. I assume this is true, or else wouldn't it get blocked when scraping Google or Google Maps? (On their website, it says no need for proxies.)

Since I'm on a Mac, I appreciate that Leads-Sniper is browser-based and simple to use. While it may lack detailed settings, it seems suitable for lead-gen, though I wouldn't mind the extra features of GSA or Scrapebox, but not keen to spend monthly (and hassle) on proxies. I'm not going to run it constantly, just need it to generate leads as necessary for projects. However I would like the option to run it a lot sometimes if necessary for certain projects.

I know Scrapebox has a Mac version, but it lacks features like automation that it has for Windows, which are useful for lead-gen enrichment. I'm open to using a virtual environment for Windows if it's going to be significantly better / more cost effective / a better tool than Leads-Sniper. (Again, looking mainly at lead-gen scraping and enrichment, not all the other functionality).

GSA Scrape Genie seems the most capable to me, but it's also a Windows-only app and requires monthly payments for proxies, like Scrapebox.

Bottom line: Leads-Sniper for simplicity and no proxies needed? (Anyone using Leads-Sniper run in to issues of getting shut down by Google?) Or Scrapebox/GSA with extra payments for proxies due to increased functionality?

Thank you.

leads-sniper is chill for light scraping, but gets rate-limited fast on maps. Their “no proxies” thing works til you scale. scrapebox on a cheap win vps + semi-deds still best if you wanna go deep. vpn won’t help much.

Thank you. "Until you scale", meaning, leaving it running for xx amount of time? Or if using in two browsers at once? Would running with my VPN software for xx minutes, switching to another VPN IP, continuing, etc, be a workaround?

Scrapebox with premium plugins, I suppose can extract the same lead-gen info (and much more obviously)? I'd just need to slow it down in settings to operate the same as Leads-Sniper, or get some proxies? (Or also turn on my VPN as mentioned?).

Tnx!
