Last Night's Google Update

I agree that SEO will never be dead because we will always change up to meet Google's requirements. SEO might change from building links to building articles and then links...We will adapt. Personally I don't like all the social media "likes"...really just because everyone "likes" something or jumps off a bridge doesn't mean I will!

I had one video drop in ranking off the front page, but it was ranked with pretty poor links (fiverr pyramids and Social bookmarks). I'll let you know if it's hard to get back.
 
SEO will never die, Methods will, SEO existed before all these companies even knew about it. SEO was around in the 1999. So for the pure fact of knowledge remember SEO wont die, methods will change

SEO has changed, but it will never die. You have to adapt and overcome.
 
Woah, two of my websites have come back to #2, exactly where they were pre-Penguin. None of the rest have had any considerable effect.
 
One of my sites that disappeared off the radar for the past 2 months has come back stronger.. dont know if it was hit by penguin as it was a newish site
 
seo will never die, although i can accept that cheap type seo services will die, already a lot of cheap seo services died. Only good quality seo services will be active. and those seo will get success who adjust themself as per current seo scenario.

Regarding blackhat and whitehat seo, i will say that blackhat will always exist as long as these search engines exist. Only smartest, Fittest will survive in SEO.
 
Dont care about forbes article, SEO will Never-Ever Die, But the things are changed from Quantity to Quality
 
Well since panda a few of my sites dropped. I even used a 301 redirect from a hit domain to a new one (which actually worked quite well, so i'd recommend that).
But now after a few months, all my sites are pretty much back on #1 , and i didn't notice any negative changes in recent days
