Is their money to be made still with adsense still? I was under the impression that adsense isnt like it use to be and making a solid income off it is next to impossible. I've been strictly doing affiliate sites and Ive been interested in dabbling with adsense again.

Still possible if you target the right buyer intent keywords with low competition these will give you a higher pay per click..not sure how it compares to how it used to be though!

I'm sitting on $1.20 or so. Although, I only started up the site a few weeks ago. I'm about to get into a few more KW and do some experiments. (If anyone can offer tips, I'd easily take them. Right now I'm aging web 2.0's for back links and "link juice" but I don't entirely know what I'm doing, even after a few dozen hours of reading and comparing various information.

Well you started of right by being on this forum. Now just absorb all information and read stickies! There is a good one about starting a new website in the white had seo section if I'm correct. Hope this helps you getting started..
