Last month, how much did you make from adsense?

Increasingly more and more weblogs use Adsense, Google's affiliate program that allows website owners to earn money when visitors click on the sponsored links.

I have always doubted the profitability for website owners. The latter is now more or less confirmed by Darren Rowse among bloggers showing that only a handful of bloggers generate a decent income with Google Adsense.

I wonder if there are people in BHW who earn more than $500 per month with Google Adsense?

About $10 - ask me again next month, am currently working on it.

I used to earn $1200 to $2000 per month from a mini niche site (scrap gold - when the niche was hot) but I sold that site and haven't really focused on Adsense since then - until now.

That sounds like a nice income stream to me. Do you remember on how many keywords you ranked? Good luck with your new adsense adventure, must be nice to already have the knowledge from your last one.
 
I can just say that the stats are not that great since last 2 months for me with Adsense.
 
I was no.1 in the Uk for scrap gold, and up there for scrap gold prices, scrap gold dealers, etc.

I only got about 6000 visitors a month but this as when gold prices had shot up to $1800 per ounce and there were ads all over tv, radio, newspapers, magazines etc, and everyone wanted to sell their gold.

All I did was create an information site on how to work out what your gold was worth, how not to get ripped off, etc - but didn't recommend any dealers or offer a way to sell their gold - that was all through the Adsense that was plastered at the top, side and bottom of the site.

So once they'd been enlightened they were no nearer actually selling their gold, so the next logical step was to click an ad for a dealer.

That seemed to work pretty well at that time in that niche.
 
I never had any AdSense site, but I created a new last month to see how much it can make. I am not very optimistic.
 
Have made a couple hundred in a month before, but that was a small project, i'm working on one at the moment that looks more promising :)

I remember that time when the gold price was high. Good job on making money of of that!
 
About $200

Plan is to build that up to $1000 a month within the next 3 months :)

No sir, just building on this one .. it's hitting $200 with only 30 articles, and hardly any SEO done. Receives about 30,000 uniques a month .. Shitty RPM's, but I can't complain.

Plan is to add at least 100 more articles within 3 months, then execute an SEO campaign to build up the authority of the site

I think it will pull in $1000 from long-tail traffic alone, if things go as planned :)

All I can say is good job! I have just started doing SEO and took my time to do good keyword research. hope one day I Will strive for the same goal as you do!
