Laser eye surgery info

The eye exercises are to tighten the muscles behind the eyes. As you get older the muscles begin to loosen weakin or whatever and you become near sighted. As for the surgery personally i think its a crap shoot some people it works for and some it don't. If it don't i would not pay for the service tho. Just because they are a doctor doesn't mean they get to do a job that do sent fix a problem and still get your money. Careful what you sign as a patient and before the procedure it usually lets them off the hook when it do sent work...

I'm not willing to accept the damage to my night vision. Everyone I know who has had either kind of surgery is pretty happy with it during the day and says that "it's not too bad" at night. I will not accept "not too bad". The doctors say "oh you won't see it at all" which isn't true - most people have some level of night-time impairment as the eye opens up to see the scars. You have to decide if you're willing to accept that.

I tried overnight orthokeratology, which was really cool, but my eyes ended up being slightly too dry to continue with it as a permanent treatment. Basically, you wear hard contact lenses at night while you sleep, and your vision is then corrected during the day. You have to wear them every night, but it is reversible and not as expensive as surgery. Then you can do active things during the day without worrying about contacts falling out or damaging your eyes.
