Out of curiosity, using (and spoofing the mac address of) a usb wireless card wouldn't provide any more anonymity connecting to the internet (behind a vpn on public wifi) over the built in wireless card a cheap disposable laptop would have, would it? I think if anything it would leave an even longer trail of being traceable because that's just another purchase you'd have to make for the wireless adapter. Off topic, but just to save everyone from reading another post, is there any true benefit of using a proxy whilst also on a vpn? Any additional benefits considering it would probably make browsing extremely slow? Thank's.

The only benefit of using a proxy behind a VPN is making it harder to trace you. It offers an additional layer of security. Using another proxy won't necessarily make your browsing slower. If you're using a good proxy service the speeds should be pretty fast. So long as you have a good internet connection. You could even VPN --> TOR --> Proxy if you wanted to make it extremely hard to track you. Honestly there's quite a few options to hide your identity, just really depends on how much you're willing to spend. For example you could setup your own proxy servers on anonymous servers and buy the servers in Bitcoin or something.

I'm looking into a vpn service that does accept bitcoin actually. I'll also put the Bitcoin through a washer to be extra safe. You seem like a veteran of the forum and very knowledgeable so I hope you don't mind if I ask you another question off topic. What is your opinion on email scraping/buying bulk lists? Trying to find a place that can provide me with a quality targeted list who maybe accepts Bitcoin. Thank's.
