Laptop or desktop computer? What do u pref and why

I prefer desktop but I switched to laptop 2 years ago.

Laptop gives me more freedom, I can respond fast anywhere I go, vacation etc.
Mention reason as well why you prefer desktop. Your recommended something and vouched something else in next statement. Pure conflict!

Both. For portability, I like laptops. For power, I like desktops.

I technically prefer a laptop, but they always break.
A traditional PC is much more reliable long-term.

Laptop but I have external monitor/keyboard/speakers etc. on my desk, it usually stays connected to them. So it`s 2 screen desktop workspace at home, but laptop outside. Happy with this.

I have used laptop in the past before switching to desktop 8 years ago, and I don't regret.

Cons?

1. It doesn't get slow after a year.
2. There's always an opportunity to upgrade instead of buying a whole new system.
3. Productivity is far more better in desktop compared to laptop
4. Doesn't get over heat and burns my hand!!
5. Big monitor, text are easy to read and no eye strain and hence can work longer in desktop. And when I get older, I can upgrade to bigger monitor for my ageing eyes!!

Disadvantage?

No portability is the only issue.

Desktop, no doubt about it. Double screen, mechanical keyboard, do I need to say anything else?

If both are available, then always PC. Its just better. But obviously laptop is the better choice if u travel more often than not.

Love desktops because of cooling and heat distribution. To go with all the pros listed above.

Yeah well, I thought it was obvious and clear why Desktop was the first choice. I used 3 monitors on my desktop, had a monster graph card so i guess it's confor its more phisical space, bigger screens and everything more :)

But as I said, I needed more freedom, and thats exactly what laptop gave me. More mobility.

I got an HP ZBook Workstation 17" laptop, works great, would never switch that to a Desktop.

I have both. Rendering yt videos mostly on my PC but in some cases when I need to go in someplace but I need to do the work, I use my laptop. I would say 80% PC 20% laptop.

I kinda always "DO THINGS" on Desktop.
Laptop is just there for fixing minor things on the go.

I prefer both and I have both( Laptop and Desktop)

laptop any day of the damn week!

Can't go to the beach and be productive at the same time with a damn 10 kilos desktop computer.
