Language, serp and article submission

Hi all,

I've got some questions about serp and article submission.

I like to make a website in Dutch. Does that mean that I need to make articles in Dutch on article sites ? Or will English also work in the same topic ?


And is it better to have a own domain or someting like blog.wordpress.com
or blogger.com
Does that effect serp ?

For a dutch site with the main keywords in Dutch I would defenitely use a .nl domain, be sure to do some proper kw research because it will make a huge difference. Using a blogger site or free wordpress can work, but it will take a lot more effort to rank. If I were you, I'd work with both dutch and English article directories, because there simply are not enough good quality dutch article directories.

You will need backlinks from dutch sites preferably with nl extensions

Ok thanks for the info. Does it matter if I write the articles in English for submisson sites ? Or do they have to be in dutch also ?
