Just trying to work out one or more strategies for generating as much conversions as possible. I've gone through several methods for getting traffic, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, E-Mail and an own landingpage. Due to the resources I have I'll focus on landingpages for now, while harvesting e-Mails through opt-in newsletters for certain topics. As I don't want to just wait until I get a decent number of qualified e-mails, I'll create and promote landing pages on my own for a certain products.

Now there's just one problem, and I have probably simply overthought this problem, what kind of content and look should this landingpage have? What's your own experience you might be willing to share?

There are several options I see here and I don't really want to waste my time trying each of them if there is maybe someone out there to just tell me "Don't waste you time with that kind of landingpage". One option is to create almost like a product page, I have the possibility to create very high quality product page that will feature the product and then link to the affiliate. Then again, as a possible customer I don't really want to see a product page just to follow a link which is yet another product page, no matter how good the quality of that page was. Then again I could simply create a basic blog-like page that will have some kind of customer review with a link to the product, which I don't think will work that good because it just seems kinda fishy and too obvious.

Another way and I am not even quite sure if this one works is to create a product page, promote this page to get a good google ranking and automatically redirect the any user to the actual Clickbank product page if the referrer is google. This way you'll be able to rank with your own content and keywords, don't need to put too much effort in the layout and in the end the customer will simply the the Clickbank product without any other hesitations.

    Overthought? Missing something?
