Could someone please explain to me what a landing page is and they they're useful? Will be starting up with some PPL and was curious as to how one would prove helpful?
Landing pages, how useful are they?

Landing pages are used just to get more people to click and hopefully fillout a form/survey since most people would trust a .com site over a bit.ly or such, their just used to drag them in more. A well constructed landing page (professional looking) will make people feel more secure. Get what im saying?

I see. So if I was to be doing a PPL, how would I get the signup page for the website I'm marketing to my landing page?

Thanks guys. One more question. There's a program called get(forgot the end of it) which allows you to store the clients email addresses after they enter it on your landing page. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Offer something valuable/useful for free (PDF, etc.) in return for their Email address.
Then you can market to them via Email. If you work it right, you will have customers
for life. That is the function of a SQUEEZE PAGE . . . A LANDING PAGE is a bit different.

You need to subscribe to an Autoresponder service like Aweber.com or GetResponse.com.
