Cardinals 2008 season facts: First time team has won every game against division team perfect 6 - 0 ...
First time since 1947 they host a payoff game
Only 4th time they have even been to a playoff .
This Saturday will tell if they finally win a a playoff.

It all comes down to players catching the ball and running the right routes.
Warner only had 14 int this year and most were due to wrong routes run .
They also had zero running game until last game with James allow to run again.

So with zero running game in 15 games Warner has had to be everything
to get the team wins...

At the beginning of the season no one expected Warner to
do what he did with a aweful Cardinals team.
MVP is about Stats and team winning .
Cardinals have done something not done by this team since 1947.
Also won every game in division never done by Cardinals.

So a Player like Warner who played above the rest and takes the team beyond
anything they have done that's called MVP !!!

Manning stats are less compared to Warner.

The end of the season means nothing Cardinals had already
clinched the playoffs.

As for Cardinals owner I am from St.Louis so we hate Bill too but now the son is taken over maybe things will change.

No matter how you cut it, Cardinal fan or not, fantasy football does the ranking for you and the points don't lie, Kurt Warner by far was the best fantasy QB for 08! Really, if you had Boldin, Fitzgerald, Warner, and Breaston you damn near could win your league in 08!

I am sorry, but I don't think Warner is even close to getting the MVP this year. I mean he had a great year and is a really good quarterback, but I can tell you that it is about a 95% chance that Peyton wins it. I find it silly to say that they have no running either. James and Hightower are both pretty good backs. I know the James has lost a step or two, but he is still decent. The thing is that they focused on passing offense. The same holds true with Indy. Addai is a good back, but 76.9 yards a game rushing and finishing 31st in running is not exactly an even attack on offense for Indy either. Moreover, let's not forget that Warner has Larry "I beat my baby momma" Fitzgerald and Boldin. I am not saying that Manning doesn't have weapons too, but those guys will make anyone look better. However, the most terrible part was 4 of the last six games including getting shelled and showing no heart against either New England or Minnesota. Also, they do play in an awful, awful, awful division. The other 3 teams had a combined 13 wins. Not very good. I don't think it is possible, but Pennington is a good choice in my opinion. 19 TDs, 3653 yards, way less weapons than either of the other guys, 97.4 QB rating(2nd in the league), and only 7 picks(14 for Warner, 12 for Manning). I look at it as Pennington didn't have quite as good of numbers, but won 11 games in a division that had Patriots, Jets, and Bills(27 combined wins compared to the 13 in Arizona's division). Also, Pennington is most responsible for keeping the Patriots out of the playoffs and that really goes a long way in my book. Plus, MVP is most valuable player and I don't think anyone played a more significant role than him. Just my opinion though.

I just wish that Warner did more for us in New York. I hope that Manning can guide us to back to back titles...kinda hard though with people shooting themselves in the foot err thigh.

Now, I have to admit something here. I have been a DIE HARD Seahawks fan since 1980. And I was hoping that Hasselbeck would have been healthy enough to rip the cards on their final game, but he pussed out and did not play.

And yes, I know that they are one of the worse teams in the NFL this year.

If you look at pure stats than it would have to be Kurt Warner. But the most valuable player to their team it would probably have to be Chad Pennington or Adrian Peterson. Kurt Warner has some great receivers down in Arizona but Chad Pennington doesnt have much in Miami to work with other than Ronnie Brown.
