Are you kidding me?? These two teams are ranked 31 and 32 in rushing offense, with the Colts ahead by only 6yds/game.
Not taking away from Warner but there is no way he should be picked over Manning or Rivers(yes they were 8-8 but those wins are all on him)

I like Kurt Warner, but he doesn't deserve the MVP. A team that wins a horrible division with a 9-7 record is not impressive. Chad Pennington should be the MVP. He doesn't have the number's Warner has, but he successfully turned a 1-15 team into an 11-5 team that one one of the most competitive divisions in football. He had the lowest number of turnover's in the league and did exactly what was needed to WIN. An MVP should help a team win, not just put up great numbers.

Yea bad Pennington had Ronnie Brown and a pretty good rushing offense. He managed the game well but it was never put on his shoulders. An MVP is someone who is the Most Valuable Player, not just someone that helped out. Pennington played great this year, I mean he is the 2nd highest rated passer but to say Pennington alone took his team to that record is just false. Parcells, Sporano, Brown, and a decent defense got the Dolphins to where they are.

Glad to see Warner doing well. Sorry he had to leave St.Louis and the Rams...you can see where they are now. He needed some time to rehab his old injuries and is now back to health and as good or better than his MVP years. And it doesn't hurt to have wideouts like he has. Big, strong and fast. So, I'm happy for him and hope all the best for him and the (former St. Louis) Cardinals.

The Cardinal beat Dallas in like 97 or 98 in the playoffs I went to that game.
