My background.

Poor ass italian family, couldn’t go to University because of moneys. I’ve bene in the army so i could at least eat. Learnt some internet marketing, adventured in some churn and burn e commerce projects, made some moneys to afford a home, at least.
Landed a decent job in Jeff’s company, but you know, he doesn’t pay so much.
I’ve been living to write since i was a chilid.
Through years of exercising, i’ve got to an absolutely decent level of narrative skills and still improving.
I’m going to university now, while i work full time. (Philosophy)

Now it’s time for me tuo bash in the professional Kindle scene.

Currently in progress:

A saga of six books, something midterm between P.K Dick and Gnoseology, with some Metal Gear retro-flavour.

Any tactic and suggestion will be much appreciated.

Keep in mind that everything will be quality focused. This will not be a Number matter.

Bash me once in a while and keep me motivated.

Now, working in a top500 company i really learnt how to NOT FUCKING QUIT whatsoever. Life is hard and busy, but i wrote four books in a year. All of these books are new weird-sci-fi stuff. To appeal to a broader audience, there are just sci fi elements based on one's individual or social perception, no spaceship and aliens, even if they somehow works too, especially in other countries (not in mine, sadly).

To get covers, i spent 300+ books each from a graphic designer i found on Joana Penn's list of cover designers. Wich Makes around 1200 euros. I spent 100 euros for Squarespace website and mail marketing tool. The first book will be permafree bait for mail marketing.

Other expenses - to fill the website with relevant content i spent 20 bucks for high quality 500 word x 100 article. That makes 2k bucks, but the site is slowly ranking.

Now that winter is coming, i will put 500 e in facebook ads and 500 more for influencer marketing. No socials. It's a waste of time for books, unless very relevant content in particular niches. Not useless but not worth it for fiction.

Total expenses: Around 3500 bucks. Yes, i fucked up my initial budget but i don't care. Won't eat if necessary.

I will keep you guys updated with results since i'm rolling the campaign launch in a week.

About category management: I don't do that. I let it go, leaving everything to the algorithm since my genre is an hybrid of romance, sci-fi, existential literature, 5% poem, 95% prose. AMZ knows, i don't. Also, a succesfull person never sacrifice long term for short term.
