[KICKOFF] 48 Hour Challenge!

Love this thread.

Excellent insight for those new to IM on what processes you should be focused on when starting out.

Be interested to hearing what results that may be achieved out of the initial 48 hours work.

Maybe some people did :) lets wait for the results.

I would say that it was fun to be honest. If I keep doing this for 30 days I will surely make some start up money which is needed to be successful online.
This sounds way more doable.
Members who know how to make money using nothing but free resources anyone can use to make money in 30 days.
Spend first few days to figure out the plan and use the remaining time to hopefully make the most money.
Which would make it easier to track the process of the members and even allow following members to participate on the side possibly.

Plus problem with cold calling is that you have to show some portfolio or you should have experience in the niche which you will be doing SEO for.

That's not what newbies can do.

I will recommend newbies to go to Reddit, Facebook groups and try helping people for initial affiliate commissions.

Then start a blog or work on building a portfolio or whatever you want to do :)

I don't know Instagram and Twitter. I have heard people do aggressive marketing there. Which can be awesome.

+ You have Pinterest too.

You can link a few infographics you make on canva to your site / web2.0 (which would be free)

Here we go!

So last night I spent the majority of my time posting on local classifieds listings on apps like Letgo, OfferUp, and Facebook Marketplace.

These listings are for high-end luxury items (iPhone XS Max, High-End Sneakers) at what I like to call "Too good to be true" prices (I.e. 70% below market value). I don't actually have these items, it's just to attract attention.

I've published a running total of 300 listings in highly populated cities across over 30 accounts I created last night.

I'm collecting their phone numbers for monetization, but I'll cover that when the time for monetization gets closer.

Looking forward to see what you did with those phone numbers.

Subscribed! :)

I ended up getting food poisoning on Saturday after lunch and had to drop out sadly.

Not the 48-hour challenge I was hoping it was going to be, but the violent vomiting was a challenge nonetheless.

Time for kickoff!

We are unfortunately 1.5 hours late to begin, thus we will run the challenge an additional 1.5 hours into Sunday to compensate.

The official start time is 6:30 PM EST 5/31/2019 and will run until 6:30 PM EST 6/2/2019

Here is the finalized lineup.

@TheBizCat
@GoGuerilla
@Stewielenor
@mhtro
@Loyalhunt
@Faceless Man
@archixet
@Djonnerz
@Dropdown
@WebMinati (He will be unable to perform in this specific challenge due to him having dealings in his personal life, however he agreed to run a similar challenge against himself and post his results separate from the challenge.)

For general reference, here are the basic rules.

-You may not use any previously built assets, connections or clients
-All earnings for this challenge may only be generated from assets you build during the 48 hours
-All earnings must be proven to @Sherb, our wonderful Judge for this challenge.
-The user with the highest earnings will be deemed the winner

Let the games begin!
Why not a 7 day challenge?

I wish I was in this challenge. What I would have done was go in a small restaurant and asked how much money they spend on their take out lids, forks, knife etc. Then I would tell them that I could get them the same take out containers for cheaper using Alibaba. Maybe this will earn me 500-1000 dollars in 48 hours.

Winner right there.

I wanted to participate but never got an inviteeeeee :(

yeah, that's the point
I agree. Should have definitely been longer than 48 hours. Most B2B doesn't even operate weekends so there's a major gap there. Should have been weekend preparing, week days executing.
