I havent clearly understood it was a statement ending with ? or just a normal question. As Artemis saied it depends how hard keywords is also niche competition, location etc. If you could state more information, you would get better answers from BHW community.

Depending on the keyword competition that you are ranking for, if low competition I think 6 months is very long a timeframe.

Make sure you clear your cookies or pull up a browser in incognito mode. If it still is first, good job. Kepp doing what you are doing. Now expand on keywords.

Yes, competition is low. That means I have to improve

I checked keywords with keywords tools. Not in browser

Its totally depends upon your keywords selection, its competitions & searching rates, content, submission techniques and you follow Google guidelines or not. If everything is OK, surely your site's keywords show in first Google SERPs.
