At present keyword planner is the best. What is the need of another one?

I know is quite a good tool, but what about competition level? It only shows 3 competition levels "low,high...". What if you need something more accurate in the competition level data??

Besides Google Keyword Planner, you may also consider such keyword research tools as:

SEM Rush,
Word Tracker,
Keyword Discovery.

But frankly speaking, when it comes to keyword research, Keyword Planner is second-to-none.

To learn more about how to choose traffic-productive keywords with its help, you may check these easy-to-implement instructions:

Do you know if it is still possible to process up to 250,000 Keywords at the same time in keyword research tool ? I personnaly only export 800 keywords maximum.

Its one thing to get a list of keywords, but finding the difficulty of a keyword is BLOODY DIFFICULT!!

There are lots of tools out there which claim to tell you the difficulty, but when comparing a large sample of difficulty metrics, you WILL find there is little correlation between any of them.

Keyword planner is the place to start for finding keywords, UNF is great for getting up to 30k keywords in a short period of time.

then finding the difficulty... SpyFu probably has one of the best difficulty scores, but it does not always have every keyword in its database, plus it only allows 1 keyword per search.

Some difficulty metrics to avoid: UNF, Traffic Travis, Wordtracker, Google exact match results... Yes.. These are ones you may have thought would be good.

Keyword planner gives me unrealistically low search volume for long string keywords? Most KW it just gives me the black lines of uncertainty. Am I doing something wrong?
