So, I'm dedicating most of my IM efforts into keyword research since it's probably the single most important building block for starting websites. Right now, this is my current method: I'm using Long Tail Pro to get keywords and Traffic Travis to analyse their competition, since it provides Median PR and Median Backlinks for top 10 results (really useful metrics) for each keyword. Then, I sort them by 'Difficulty' and check the top 10 myself for the 'Easy' and 'Relatively Easy'. Most of the times, they are actually easy to rank for keywords. Then I get those keywords back into Long Tail Pro and search for these keywords with 'Include' and type the keyword itself. This way, I get dozens of variations of the same keyword with similar competition. I'd like to know your own methods to find (virtually) ZERO competition keywords.
