Why do the results vary so much?

Google tells me my KW gets approx 8200 searches per day.
Seobook tells me my KW gets 198 searches per day.

How can this be?

google keyword planner shows number of searches per month.

Prab1996 is right. If you look closely, google displays monthly search volume.

google keyword planner shows number of searches per month.

i think its not right, according to seobook : 198*30=5940 per month. its not equal to google search result.
so i think there is another issue.

that's a issue with seobook.
nothing can beat keyword planner in providing correct data.
all of other "tools" depend upon what planner shows to them.

seobook might be showing stats of only one last month. planner shows a average of past 12 months.
it's just a basic thing. i not know why op even though about comparing seobook with keyword planner.

seo book is a child which depend upon daddy planner.

These are all estimates based upon previous month searches and in no way guarantee extact volume of traffic in future.

You can rely on GKP's result.

SEOBook provides you stat per day where GKP
provides for a month average.

Go with the GKP rather than SEOBook.
